I decided on this dress for my wedding because it is such a cute but stunning design and the tiny gold accents (star⭐️and moon) catch the light beautifully✨ It also arrived in about 27 days which is impressive. I even asked them to alter the bust area for me because I didn't like the open design and they were able to do it!
Overall, I'm happy with my choice but think the custom sizing could be better.
I'm 5'2 with a D-DD cup.
When the dress arrived, it felt very tight in the bust (I even measured myself again and I was the same.) I did measure myself without a bra though so that may be the issue. This dress has a very high bust (and higher than my bras) and so when I squeezed in it, my bust circumference may have increased or something. They did offer to fix it, but I only had a month until my wedding when it arrived. I couldn't risk sending it back for an adjustment and I was still able to make it work.
Another issue I had was the length. I gave them my height plus my waist to floor measurement, but it was still too long for my preference. They never asked me what shoe I was going to wear with it. I didn't think I had to mention that but I wish I did. I wore flats. I guess they assumed I would wear heels. If you think it looks fine in the photo, then maybe it's just me♀️ I did have to spend time fluffing it in front of me before photos but that may be normal with dresses like this anyway.
Also, I had to alter the gloves myself to make them fit my short fingers and small arms. Although, that I was expecting because they never asked for those measurements. If you think you'll have to do this, it's a bit of a challenge but can be done by turning them inside out, trying them on, marking them, sewing the new hems, turn them right side out to check and repeat. The seam allowances in the gloves are also pretty excessive which took up space for the fingers. It seems the gloves are meant for long, skinny hands. I may have slightly wide fingers but my hands are smaller than others and I found that trimming that extra fabric inside the fingers to be very helpful. They just weren't functional/flexible otherwise.
So if you have bigger than standard mannequin arms/hands, I would hope they ask for your measurements or you should let them know.
Lastly, I felt the sleeves looked too big on me compared to the model photo. They took my measurements, but it's like they didn't scale the sleeves accordingly so they look quite heavy on my small frame.
I hope these tips and things to consider are helpful to whoever's wanting this dress - everybody at my wedding was impressed with it!
